The Interest Rates Desk consists of an international team of 40 highly experienced men and women which serves a unique mix of banking, corporate and government clients all over the world. The Interest Desk is active in the following products:

• Interbank and Non-banking Deposits
• Certificates of Deposits (CD) & Commercial Paper (CP)
• Repurchase Agreements
• Arbitrage
• Foreign Exchange (mainly FX-Swaps)
• Interest Rate Derivatives
• Treasury Bills
• Medium Term Notes & Structured Bonds
• Private Placements & Structured Loans

Responsibilities

Because of continuous growth ambitions they are looking for a Deputy Head of the Money Market and Fixed Income desks with excellent leadership skills. Main focus in this role will be on the management tasks of all the individuals and (sub-)teams together. What can we do to perform better as an individual and as a team? Do you have a track record in developing teams? This could be your role. Together with the Head of Interest who works on the strategic level combined with the current management team you will work on the growth of the department.

• These are the main responsibilities:

• Provide direction to and expand the whole Interest department
• Help individuals and teams grow in their career and success
• Help the teams with sales and cross sell opportunities
• Work closely with Recruitment to facilitate growth strategically
• Together with HR you will actively focus on performance management
• Actively look for new and cross-selling opportunities within the Interest and other  Group departments

• Fluent in English and preferable two other European languages
